Curated By... Conference -26.01.13

Here are some notes of thing I found helpful from these lectures...

Morag Myerscough

-Always re-evaluate what you are doing.
-Do some stuff for yourself.
-Do what you want.
- Where do you get your inspiration from?
-Advices you to go out, understand what is around you.
- Obsessions- What are mine?
- She looks at the history of a building and place.
-She doesn't care if people hate her work but doesn't want people to feel indifferent.
 -I found her works in schools as well as the tea building and the typography on chairs interesting.
-She is part of a super group. 
-She worked for Zynga. 
-She also loves colour and traveling.

Jack Schulze

-Works for Berg.
-Created the "Little Printer" (which is awesome, but expensive)
  - He works with large companies such as Google and BBC.
Some quotes that he said- "Lying about the future makes history"
-"When you cut into the present the future leaks out..." Burroughs
-"If you have a choice never have a job"- Milton Glaser
-He has to make what hr is thinking in order to express it" Charles Holland, fantasy journal.
He spoke a lot about media as well as technology. 

Johnny Kelly

-He is an Animator and Animator Director
- He started with comics and the he studied and worked in Graphic Design.
Some of his work that he showed us included - Procrastination and - The Seed.
